Faith & Culture Sessions: Season 1
The Faith & Culture Sessions offer a space for Catholics to delve deeper into how faith informs our everyday lives. Held over six Saturdays in Lent, participants gather for live-streamed presentations by renowned Catholic speakers from around the world.

Session 1: Fr Dave Pivonka
Fr Dave Pivonka is President of Franciscan University of Steubenville and an evangelist known for his teachings on the Holy Spirit. A Franciscan priest with decades of pastoral experience, he’s dedicated to helping people encounter Christ in everyday life. In this session, he’ll share reflections on the importance of placing Jesus at the centre of our daily walk.

Session 2: Paul J Kim
Paul J Kim is a Catholic speaker, musician, and author who engages audiences through music, humour, and relatable storytelling. His message invites people—especially youth—to deepen their relationship with God. Here, he’ll touch on ways to nurture strong, faith-based family life.

Session 3: The Sisters of Life
The Sisters of Life are a contemplative and apostolic religious community committed to upholding the dignity of every human person. Founded by John Cardinal O’Connor in 1991, they offer both spiritual and practical support to those in need. In this presentation, they’ll speak on fostering a culture of life in the modern world.

Session 4: Matthew Petrusek
Dr Matthew Petrusek is the Senior Editor of the Word on Fire Institute and a moral theologian who delves into how Catholic teaching intersects with contemporary culture. He’s known for offering clear, faith-based perspectives on today’s social and moral complexities. In this talk, he’ll discuss ways Catholics can respond thoughtfully to current cultural movements while remaining grounded in Church teaching.

Session 5: Christopher Carstens
Editor of the Adoremus Bulletin, Christopher Carstens writes and speaks on liturgical worship in the Catholic Church. His session will explore how the Mass and sacraments can draw us deeper into communion with God, emphasising the beauty and reverence of the Church’s liturgical life.

Session 6: Jason Evert
Jason Evert is the founder of The Chastity Project, promoting God’s plan for love and relationships. He’s spoken worldwide to audiences of all ages, offering practical insights on living out the faith. In his talk, he’ll examine some of the core reasons for embracing Catholicism in a modern world.
