Season #1 of the Faith & Culture Sessions will take place over six Saturdays in Lent, inviting attendees to gather for brunch, enjoy a live-streamed talk from a renowned Catholic speaker, and participate in a relaxed Q&A. Each session sparks thoughtful discussion, fostering deeper faith and an opportunity to connect with other Catholics.
SESSION 1: SAT 8 MARCH 2025:
Speaker: Fr Dave Pivonka
Topic: Starting with Jesus
Fr Dave Pivonka is President of Franciscan University of Steubenville and an evangelist known for his teachings on the Holy Spirit. A Franciscan priest with decades of pastoral experience, he’s dedicated to helping people encounter Christ in everyday life. In this session, he’ll share reflections on the importance of placing Jesus at the centre of our daily walk.
Faith & Culture Sessions -Day Schedule:
10am: Brunch & Fellowship
Arrive, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where you can chat with fellow attendees. This informal gathering sets the tone for the morning, helping everyone feel at ease and connected.
10:30am: Live-Streamed Presentation
Gather for a talk from a renowned Catholic speaker, streamed from around the world. Each keynote is tailored to spark reflection on faith, culture, and the way they intersect in our daily lives.
11am / Q&A and Discussion
After the keynote, a Q&A session allows time to ask questions, share insights, and hear from both the speaker and local presenters.
